BLUselect® Cuffed Tracheostomy Tubes feature a SOFT-SEAL® cuff. The cuff is a low pressure, high volume cuff designed to minimize trauma upon insertion and provide an effective seal. Relevant information such as ID and French Sizes are clearly marked on the pilot balloon. Each BLUselect® Cuffed Tracheostomy Tube is made of thermosensitive polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to provide sufficient rigidity for insertion but soften at body temperature to accommodate individual patient anatomy. Bivona Adult TTS Trach Tube, 6.0mm MID, 7.0mm Long

Each BLUselect® Suctionaid® tube is equipped with an additional lumen to allow effective removal of secretions above the cuff which minimizes the risk of aspiration. The suction lumen can be used to apply continuous or intermittent suction (thumb valve included) above the cuff. Thermosensitive material with initial rigidity for insertion will heat to body temperature and conform to the individual's upper respiratory tract to ensure minimal trauma.
