The MultiOx adjustable venturi valve offers seven oxygen concentrations. A large body diameter provides space for clear, widely-spaced calibration and incorporates a ‘pull-twist’ action preventing accidental adjustment. The one-piece design eliminates the need to use more than one valve for all concentrations and contains no separate pieces that may get lost or mislaid.

Ease of Use
The MultiOx adjustable venturi valve is simple to use and has the following features and benefits:

• The anti-tamper ring with the ‘pull-twist’ action selects the prescribed oxygen concentration
• A flow in L/min is printed next to each concentration indicating the optimum flow meter setting. These flows have been selected to ensure that the patient receives a total flow of approximately 40 L/min. This is designed to meet the patient’s “normal peak inspired flow” requirements.

Precision
The MultiOx delivers precise oxygen concentrations in compliance with ISO Standard EN 13544-3:2001.

This accuracy is independent of the oxygen flow meter setting and is achieved using just one valve.

The concentration delivered is unaffected by the patient’s breathing pattern provided that the optimum flow indicated on the valve is set on the oxygen flow meter.

Environment
Both adult and pediatric mask kits are supplied with Eco aerosol masks.

The Eco aerosol mask has been designed as part of our ongoing focus on sustainable development, which is an integral part of our ethos. The Eco range, unlike traditional masks, contains no PVC. This results in a significantly lower impact on the environment.

By utilizing the latest technology we have combined two materials: the first forms the clear rigid shell of the mask, (this provides a strong lightweight body with good visibility), while the second softer material forms the seal, (providing a comfortable fit for a wide variety of face shapes). All of these features provide improved patient comfort.
