The B&B Bubbler Water Seal CPAP Valve provides a proven method of delivering 0 – 10 cm H2O continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) for use with infants weighing < 10 kg. The CPAP is adjustable from 1 to 10 cm H2O with gas flow from 1 to 12 liters per minute with accuracy of +/- 1 cm of H2O. The B&B Bubbler is intended to provide CPAP to spontaneously breathing neonates and infants who require breathing support due to conditions associated with prematurity or other conditions where CPAP is prescribed by a physician. The patent-pending B&B Bubbler’s design allows airway pressure to be set without the cumbersome and time-consuming tasks normally associated with bubble CPAP devices.A dual-chambered wall allows the fluid level to be observed without disrupting therapy. The B&B Bubbler also has an internal-drainable overflow chamber that limits fluid level within the optimal range. A fill port is provided for adding fluid without disengaging the circuit and the rotating CPAP dial with setting lock reduces risk of inadvertent setting changes.The B&B Bubbler can be used in all neonatal critical care units, delivery rooms and special procedure units.
