The BlockAide™ filter media consists of a special blend of polymers with a highly stable electrostatic charge on every individual fiber, which allows it to consistently achieve high efficiencies by using both the electrostatic charge and mechanical impaction to remove airborne bacterial and viral particles. While being highly efficient in bacterial and viral fi¬ltration efficiency, the fi¬lter media still maintains a low airflow resistance to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
